5 Tasks to Stop Procrastinating On and Finish When Stuck Indoors

1. Curate your library. Scan your books and consider which ones you love or which you plan on re-reading. Donate or gift the books you don’t like or don’t plan to read again to make room for future ones.
2. Take care of sensitive pots and pans. Copper and cast-iron pots and pans require a little extra TLC to keep them in great condition. Put on your favorite podcast or show and spend some time re-seasoning your cast iron or cleaning your copper with specialized cream.
3. Clean out your closet. Most people have more clothes than they realize. Often times, items will sit in the back of your closet for months – sometimes years – before you remember you have them. Go through your closet and get rid of the clothes you don’t wear or didn’t realize you still had. If you don’t know it’s there when you have it, you probably won’t miss it when you don’t.
4. Get caught up on laundry. For many, laundry seems to be the chore that never ends and when you’re always on the go, it can feel like you’re living out of a disheveled laundry basket. Take this time when you have nowhere else to be and finish cleaning and putting away your clothes. The next time you do laundry it will be a breeze, as you’ll only have to focus on what’s currently in your hamper.
5. Redecorate. This doesn't have to mean a whole big spring cleaning project. Simply moving a few things around your home can be fun and breathe new energy into a familiar space. Look also at your drapes and window coverings. Maybe now is the time to start planning for new window shades to control the natural light and refresh a room’s ambiance.
